Smart Bin

The Plastic Fee project focuses on the separate collection, recycling, and reuse of plastic bottles through the use of a smart bin that recognizes the inserted plastic bottle.
The prototype is capable of managing and tracking the waste lifecycle, collecting data for local authorities and institutions for statistical and promotional purposes, and incentivizing citizens to correctly dispose of plastic bottles by assigning them recognition.
